That describes my life, I think.
Got on Abilify successfully and it works great without me seeing green or anything like that. Got the settlement from the car accident I was in that was the other guy’s fault. Got all those doctors and surgeon and hospital and whatnot paid off and got to pay off my other debts. Came down with crippling abdominal pain and rushed to ER thinking something was busted.
Can you believe that? *shakes head*
Nothing was busted. In fact, the GI guy can’t find anything wrong after a few thousand dollars more tests and believes its… wait for it… the Abilify causing gut cramps. Apparently something is causing internal cramping of various organs. The anti-spasmodic he gave me makes the pain go away, and nothing is busted. And Abilify is my only new med. OH CRAP.
So now I’m back in debt and facing having to change bipolar meds again. Yes, Stacy, life is MESSY!
Speaking of Stacy, my fab therapist, next week is the last time I see her. I’m finally moving into the long term management program and that means a new therapist.
Are you sure I’m not starring in a soap opera? When do I collect my paycheck and go home? Can I get a new script because this one sucks?
Oh did I mention that the anti-spasmodic makes me hypomanic?
This really is just silly. Must be my life. LOL Grab that sugar cuz we’ve got some lemonade to make here.

I’m sorry I just had to laugh here. That is so like my constant medication switches. I feel for you , honestly but I did have to laugh. I hope you understand
Raine, don’t worry. *I* laugh at it quite a lot. It gets so absurd it’s funny. Comedy of medications
I feel you here. I’ve been on and off Abilify like a yo-yo these past months, and still cannot decide if the side affects are worth the benefits. I had really bad stomach cramps as well. Hope it stabilizes and all is well with you.
I can’t take the stomach cramps, myself. There’s one med for extra-pyrimidal symptoms I may try, but as it might cause hallucinations it may well be worse than what it’s fixing since various meds often make me hallucinate LOL I hope you can find something that works better for you!
