Astrid - remind as often as you like *hugs*

ST - Well! That would be one heck of a way to quit smoking. Remove part of brain to quit smoking. I'll keep that idea on the back burner. Might need it LOL

According to research a smoker may "forget" their craving for nicotine if a part of the brain called the insula becomes damaged. A 2007 study published in the journal Science found that smokers with brain damage to this area were 136 times more likely to forget their addiction to nicotine. The findings may one day lead to new drugs that better help a person quit.

I guess you need to destroy the insula of your brain for you to get over it! Good Luck.

CK - Just found you in the moderated stuff. How did you get there? hehe I'm pretty sure they're right too about it being the hardest drug. Add that to so much habit over so many years, with all habits being kind of hard to break, and the psychological stuff. Oh I'll stop now, I'm depressing myself ;)

WC - If I ever get shut of it, I'm never going back. I can manage that, I do believe. Did with cocaine.

Laura - I'm not sure I'd know a stress-free period if it bit me on the left eyeball. LOL But definitely now is not the best time.

Kimmie - Oh man, that has to hurt.

Raine - Well, if I come up with some cool thing I'll let you know.

Jenna - I'd rather not quit quite that way, but if it's what it takes.... Not sure about the last post thing. I can delete the comment but not the link, I think. We'll see.

Astrid - Dun worry girlie. I'm not going to go quit my asthma meds or whatnot without a doctor on a leash. lol

Svasti - In high school I p layed in band -- first chair no less-- without feeling a thing. Wish I had. Might not be here now. And thanks :)
