The end of the week was full of therapists. Fortunately it was not full of fever,.
The mental therapist was cute Thursday. She was terribly excited I’m walking with almost no limp and drove myself to my appointment. She got quite a kick out of my wanting to deal with the boxes while feverish too. Gotta like her. She can recognize bipolar symptoms and still laugh with me at them as long as I’m doing everything reasonable to take care of myself and it goes away. The useful thing we went over was trying to start Topamax this week so that in a few weeks I can use it to replace the Trileptal I’m currently taking. I has realized that I really just need a break from throwing new things at my body and head for a bit. I’ve been at it with something since the end of July 08. So we talked about it, and she agreed it was reasonable to put it off for a month or two. Thank goodness. Especially since I was going to do it anyway. *grin* So that was a good session.
I guess the session Friday with the physical therapist was good too. I’ll know better when I’m not so exhausted. LOL Boy, he did not cut me any slack. Boy, I took it all on the chin and kept going. At the end of the session he grinned at me and said, “See, you did it and it didn’t kill you.” I laughed and told him that there was never a chance it would. So we laughed at the end, and I still walked out. Good. But damn, that hill profile on the bike is a killer.
