Think of the lack of road rage you're experiencing without driving!! That's gotta be a good thing, right? And hey, being chauffered around - another good thing!!

Being sick and injured sucks big time.

I think I've mentioned before my incredible clumsiness and history of injuring myself? No? Well, lemme give ya a little story that might cheer you up!

I'll never forget the time I gave myself concussion, wrenched my neck and tore my thumb joint when not paying attention while skiing in wet snow. I went down hard and it was nasty! They thought I'd broken my thumb/hand etc so I was in a cast for a couple of weeks til they could do the scan. Didn't stop me skiing the next day (the doc had given me the all clear) and against my friends' better judgement I went skiing (and had a blast). Just stuck a couple of socks on my hand in a cast (purple fibreglass) and off I went. Didn't realise at that point I had concussion too.

So, eventually I had the scan and the cast came off. Then couple of weeks later, not even thinking about the effects of concussion, I attended an American Indian style sweat lodge (in a VERY hot little hut). It was getting too hot for me (was getting dizzy) and I was on the way out of the hut. I slipped and put my hand on one of the very hot rocks creating the heat in the hut!! And yes, I burned the same hand, second degree burn... sigh!

Oh, I have heaps of stories like that BTW if you ever need another giggle at someone else's expense. ;)
