I have a fun hand tremor caused by my bipolar meds. Annoying. Then more than annoying when it started interfering with my work and my art. Ok, talk to pdoc and get some Cogentin to try PRN. First time I took the Cogentin it was at night, and I got a headache, got nauseous, and got very drowsy. Did some poking around online and found I should take it with food. Doh, I should have read the handy little label on the bottle. My bad. Thought I’d try it again, with food this time, and see if the headache and drowsy were just a coincidence. Apparently not. About 45 minutes after taking it, while I was doing other things and distracted, I noticed that I was getting a headache. Huh. Not good. About an hour after taking it, my eyelids started drooping. Well crapola. Then the little white ghost-like things started running around and flying by. Cogentin is no damned good to me unless I want to be asleep with a headache or awake with a headache and ghosts chasing around. Ah well. Back to the meds drawing board. And maybe I can get rid of the chronic gastritis and memory problems caused by the meds too. *snort* Yeah, right.
And on the weird side of technology, ASUS, who makes actually very good motherboards and monitors (here’s mine) , has the weirdest tech company slogan I’ve ever heard of: “Rock Solid - Heart Touching” Rock Solid I can go for. I want rock solid hardware backed with rock solid drivers. But Heart Touching??? WTF??? This orange and blue LED crap is part of the heart touching stuff. Weird. The only thing I don’t like about the monitor. But apparently other folks do. Coolness for them. Only mildly annoying for me and easy to cover with electrician’s tape.
Oh oh, my eyes are closing. Crapola.
