Going with the Thursday Thirteen Idiot Therapist theme was funny. Thanks folks, for your comments! It’s sad that I could come up with 13 reasons she’s an idiot without having to lie.

The world almost came to a screeching halt yesterday, though.

The therapist returned a phone call!!! Very ironic, considering the TT where I stated (factually, when I wrote it) that she’d never called me back ever.

I had been forced to reschedule my appointment in order to get in to see my medical doctor, and she actually called me back. Of course, I wasn’t at the phone when she called, so I had to call her back. I wonder if she’ll ever call back again to reschedule. I don’t really care much, but I am curious.

Yeah, I need a new therapist, that’s for sure. Unfortunately, since I have no health insurance and am not made of money, I’m stuck with her for now. She’s part of the package deal with county mental health for the program I’m in, which is the one that pays for my ridiculously expensive meds.  

When I get my biz back on its feet totally, I can go shopping for a real therapist who doesn’t work for the government. It’s funny to me that county mental health is so surprised I’m actually aiming to get out of their county programs altogether by earning a living. That’s a comical and sad  commentary on what they must usually deal with.
